the force will be expended quickly. There should be no damage. I have done this a few times with my Maxprop hub. If you are worried about the prop hitting the ground and being damaged have someone hold it with a vice grips with wood strips between the prop and the grips. DO NOT HAMMER the prop. You may damage the transmission.
Put a lot of pressure on the prop with the gear puller and heat the prop evenly around the shaft. It may take a lot of heat and a lot of pressure from the gear puller.
Just don't start the fiberglass of fire!
