() I have a prop puller you can use anytime you'd like. Please don't risk brinelling (creating flat spots) the bearings or races in your gear... I've also seen numerous yards use slide hammers to remove couplings. Still does not make it right or good for the gear... The gear boxes always appear to work for some time before the brinelling rears its ugly head....

- A very easy way to get the prop off is as follows...
- Once you get the puller in place and
- Use an impact wrench on the puller
- Try them all, one of these ideas will work.
- Recommend more heat.
