When I used it

I had the transmission in neutral and used short bursts. Doubt it put any undue stress on the gears. Certainly a lot less than using a hammer as others have suggested.(nl)Edit: less stress on shaft and seals too.

- Once you get the puller in place and
- Use an impact wrench on the puller
- Try them all, one of these ideas will work.
- Recommend more heat.
