but ONLY started when we first cut the dock lines. I used the chart plotter to make the log entries as we went. I did not keep it one at anchor or dock. At anchor I used a small hand held for anchor watch as my CP is in the cockpit and I can not hear the alarm, but I can keep the hand held unit next to my birth.

I did not keep track of the other items, but find it VERY interesting to think about.

It seems to me that over the years it seems like sailing/cruising has fallen off a bit. Or at least Internet chatter about it has. It sure seems like there are fewer people on the boards no than there was in the past. And, a lot are ones that have much more experience. I am not seeing nearly as many "What is the best boat" type questions popping up.

But then, it could just be my limited view of the forums??
