We sail the west end of Lake Erie from May to October. This year we put 1731 nautical miles on our boat, a Tartan 372. We spent 65 to 70 nights on our boat, including a month cruise to the North Channel of Lake Huron, and a week cruise on western Lake Erie. Our average day sail is probably 20 nautical miles. We live 35 miles from our boat, and have been sailing for 33 years.

If you had asked this question last year our numbers would have included a 10 month, 7000 NM cruise to the Bahamas.
