But it's hard to find a mooring or a decent spot to anchor. We ended up dinghying around from the anchorage at Matinicus. Walking around Criehaven is lovely.

Edit: Has anyone anchored in the cove on the NE corner? Looks like it might be OK in settled weather but I'm not sure what the bottom is like
