While forums like this have slowed(dramatically in the past years), I don't see that many less boats in the harbors. There aren't fields of them left ashore after launching season, people are still sailing. And I still see young people out there in numbers.

But they're going to different places on the internet these days, and there are a lot of choices. I think it's simply an age thing. Forums like this are not as popular with younger people that sail today. They get their info in different ways.
