Some of the stories we tell may scare people away from Onset. That would be very unfortunate, imo. It offers extremely
good protection (much better than Red Brook), the holding is good, there's always room for at least one more boat in the
anchorage (or so it seems), it's a good place to re-fuel, one can get provisions (although the grocery store
is smallish and a bit over-priced) and do the laundry ashore, and there are lots of things to do ashore. The beaches are
awesome, as are the views. Even the harbormasters are friendly! One of my FAVORITE places.
