If I had one rudder failure I would be sitting on top of the guy fixing it to make sure it was done right. But after the second failure my faith would be running thin and I'd be contacting the designer, the builder and God himself to make sure that I and the guy building the replacement both have a thorough understanding of how the rudder should be built before crossing an ocean with it. I've had enough problems with boat repair "professionals" to know they do not all know what they are doing.
