Designing and building rudders is NOT that tough

() A rudder is surprisingly easy to build. The trick is to get a good welder to make up the shaft and armature. Actually laying up the rudder is pretty easy. Designing one is easy too. There are lots of books you can use to determine the sizing and foil shape. It isn't science.
