But I do know what I am talking about. Fiberglass boat building is actually surprisingly low tech. The calculations to determine rudder loads are simple and there are pretty tight guidelines for rudder size for different types of boats. Rudder shape is a bit "arty", but the foils themselves are all pretty much standard NACA foils.
