What will I do with all the free space in my chart drawer, now that I have an Ipad?

I've read a few of us are using Ipads for nav aids. I have an Ipad, 2 wifi only. I don't have much desire for G3 either for use or the extra cost. We're almost always in cellphone range if we need. Our boat is an escape pod for us so I don't miss the internet and can get it easily enough, on shore, if I need or want it.

So I need an external gps antennae. I've seen a few of those for around a hundred bucks. Blue tooth so it can be located off the ipad. Anybody have experience with using one of those? Charging/wiring?

I see us using the ipad more for route planning at anchor/underway, while still keeping a chartplotter as our main source of info for the helm and nav station/anchorage. But I see the ipad out in the cockpit as well for an easier source to fip through nearby charts.

The big question; What charting apps do you like best?

I'm not going to throw my charts away! I might wallpaper a bathroom...
