If you have a Macbook running down below and any smallish network setup in the boat then you can easily use all the Explorer charts on the ipad. Get Splashtop for the ipad and you can remote via the network to you Mac below and then you have what you want. Not simple but you get the Explorer Charts on the Ipad.
