We found that the all charts whether paper or electronic seemed to be off in depth. We had 6' and according to the charts there were many beautiful places that could accomodate us. Unfortunately 6' wasn't there as the charts said and we ended upgoing to a lot less places than we anticipated. We tried getting to what looked like a beautiful area with 6.5 at mean low. We tried a number of entrance angles on a rising tide and just gave up after running out of water.

If we had forward looking sonar I think it would have helped a lot. I'm pretty good at reading water but the green water of the Abacos threw me off. If you have that equipment you would probably have better luck.
