Going probably in December, don't know what I am looking for...

I don't like crowds, really didn't care for most of New England for that reason I guess. So far what we have enjoyed the most was Georgian Bay on Lake Huron and the more remote Canadian Maritimes - Prince Edward, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia. Parts of Maine were quite nice. I guess the common thread might be a beautiful anchorage with a small settlement. Occasionally a little more civilization, occasionally a little more solitude. Been to the Virgin Islands and Grenada with the same experience I think. We snorkel, don't dive - although I have a DC hookah rig now (will go in the dinghy), so 20 ft deep is good. I rarely stay in one place more than a couple of days, like to keep moving.

The time window is December to March or so, no constraints other than probably not wanting to spend more than about 2 or 3 months away from home. So I could go in January if the weather was better, hell by the time the work list is done on the boat it might be January! I am intending to jump down the coast from the Chesapeake to see Charleston and Savannah, and return to the Florida Keys to see them at the end. Very likely the boat will be put on a truck to the Pacific Northwest after that. Unless we love the Bahamas so much I need another season there.
