Yes but, 
In Response To: Abacos in winter ()
Yes, Northers reach the Abacos in winter; but, there are good anchorages where you are well protected and they only last a day or two, then you can play again. 
Plus, they are 10 degrees warmer after crossing the Gulf Stream then they are in Florida!
