Only at low tide

Our draft is close to 6'. Depends on how much we're loaded. But the Abacos for the most part is doable with a 6.5' draft. Yeah, at Green Turtle to go into either harbor you will be watching the tide. Not a big deal and Hope Town you will watch the tide and Little Harbor you will really watch the tide. But that is just being aware of the tide. The Northern harbors and anchorages are all ok, Walkers isn't open anymore (last I knew) and you only need to be prudent to navigate there. Crossing the banks with 6.5' will not be an issue, the Island Freighters do it all the time and they draw considerably more. Actually, the Fuel Supply Barge is what keeps many of the channels dredged by going in and out on the tide.

Enjoy them, they are still one of our favorite places.

Ciao
