no provisioning is done except at high tide. I have easily a 10 foot hinged ramp down to waterside with a tidal range of about 7 feet. A wheeled cart going downhill is a missile being held back my my two puny arms and a slippery pair of feet in Keens. Going uphill with clothing, a laptp and various stuff to go back home, after a weekend requires a come-a-long. Its a stress test just missing a halter monitor and nurse with clip board and blood pressure cuff.
We've been known to come back in on Sunday exhausted and at low tide tie up and stay over night waiting for the high and me going to work Monday right from the boat after unloading into the car at dawn.
