You are right about provisioning. Seems like it takes as much work to head out for a weekend as it does for two weeks. Even if you have clothing for the boat, it has to come in for cleaning (yeah, we do that). Tools don't go back and forth much, but camera, GPS and iThings do. I do it by dinghy, so needn't worry about the tide! Only help is to load non-perishables in advance (and same at the end).
