had anything that I would consider a good rain this year at all. I'm really ticked off, yet again, at our political hacks in Sacramento. They constantly vote down building any infrastructure that would help out in dry spells. We have only one desalinization plant being built in all of Southern Calif. and that was like pulling teeth. Building Transmission lines to bring in power to run more de-sol plants and other infrastructure is always a head banger because of the "environmentalist obstructionists". Now we have a power shortage as well as a water shortage. Yet we're still watering golf courses in Palm Springs because the political hacks receive campaign funding from the fat cats who want to play golf. We live in a desert. It's not hard to figure it out. Desert = dry! It makes my head explode. Then we wonder why the people in Northern California, where we steel most of our water from, all have their nickers in a twist. It like a Greek Tragedy. California, the land of "fruits and nuts". Uh, sorry, that's not PC. Well, actually, I don't give a s$#@ because I'd rather have water.
