You can spend a few hours in a fine restaurant, or all day in one of those, 'open 24 hours', highway cafeteria's.
Well, the sailing is better on SF Bay, hands down, all in. However if you want coastline to explore...

Here in Texas recently, the powers in Austin wanted to shut down the flow down the Colorado, so the folks up there
