Oh one more HD story...

Went there about a week ago to get a simple O ring... Needed for a sink drain plug. The old one had just rotted away after 7-8 years.
I remembered HD had a box of drawers with all sorts of O rings in it, each in a little zip lock bag. So I figured they would have it.
Nope. After a recent remodel, and shifting stuff around (so I can't find a damn thing...) they no longer have ANY O rings. WTF?!? The guy in plumbing was actually apologetic that they no longer handled O rings.
Went to a local "limited hours" (9-5 only) plumbing shop and the guy at the counter GAVE me the O-ring... no charge. That is what local shops do.

- Either one, but HD is worse. I buy at a REAL lumber yard, and last I bought, was actually cheaper
