We're in lumber county in Virginia and there's a mill on just about every corner, and places that do the pressure treating. So I'm in Lowes looking at a few sticks of pressure treated for a backyard project and it all says "product of Brazil."
Huh?
There must be at least three pressure-treating sources within 30 miles of that store. Didn't make me very happy, in the middle of a recession that hit real hard around here.
Plus, when I got the stuff home and let it lie around for a while, all it was good for was a spiral staircase.
