Once I have what I'd seen, I stop. The extreme is to shoot video with a dSLR where every frame is photo quality! Do I miss spooling film onto reels in a dark room? Brown fingers from Dektol? No.
I remember meeting the last guy to hand-set type in Boston. A great niece just finished up at SCAD Atlanta, where she shot 4x5, made palladium contact prints and learned lighting, promotion and Photoshop. Think the last three will be what she'll use. Change is often good.
