In Response To: Ticky tack work is nothing new. ()
() They are building a house on the next block from me. I while ago I heard that framing nailer fire about a dozen times, sounded like a machine gun. CAN'T have been good construction Eh?
I built my own house. And in the entire house, there is plywood in two places- The kitchen counter under the Formica, and the top of the water heater cabinet. It's an A-Frame, and the walls/ceiling, and floors are 2 x 6 tongue and groove- all varnished, with exposed A's wrapped in rough cedar.

- Heh. When I did major remodel on my house I used zero nails, everything is screws, even the siding.
