When I rebuilt Tehani she had nine bolts holding the cast iron keel on

() I couldn't really inspect them to my satisfaction, so I drilled, tapped, added new floors, and put in 12 new bolts, leaving the old in place.
She now carries 21 keel bolts.

- Perhaps rudders painted International Orange should be offered as a factory option...?

- Good question. I can see structural fin keel damage in a grounding, but a full loss, in the water?

Now
