. . . but over a life of 15 years or so it's possible it "touched" a few things. Then there's the lateral motion in big seas. Over time, that can aggravate anything that might have been sensitized by the occasional grounding. Seems to me, a bolted-on fin keel warrants a thorough inspection every time the boat is hauled.
