ROFL- no and it might snag hair do's-grin

Now () one advantage of a full keel/attached rudder- she pretty well shoves everything away as she passes. Never have I caught a crab pot line with this boat, and we have seen THOUSANDS of those.
In fact I can only recall one time when we snagged a line- a four foot long chunk of poly line floating free- wrapped up in the prop on the outboard. It sits in a well and is right behind the keel/rudder as you can see in this pic.
By the way- that's after 3 years in Texas waters- LOVE that Pettit ACP 60

- Exactly. That's why I only fly on biplanes. If one wing fails the other kicks in. Technology.... humbug!

- Good question. I can see structural fin keel damage in a grounding, but a full loss, in the water?
