() I use a riding sail quite effectively on my Tartan 30 - definitely keeps the boat from sailing on the anchor. It's only a single panel sail, so gives a 'whump' every time it changes tack. One of these days I'll try a double panel one, joined at the luff with a spreader between the clews.
