In Response To: How much of your rode is chain? ()
1/4 HT on our main with 100 ft. of 1/2 nylon. Our second has 50 ft. chain with 300 ft. half inch nylon.
During one hurricane at anchor in Mexico we used ALL of our main with the second ready to trip from the cockpit. We were in about 15~20 feet of water.
