How much of your rode is chain?
Now that we are heading foreign it is 230' chain
We use a bridle instead of a snubber
150' chain, followed by 75' brait...
On my little barge for the NW I have 65' of chain backed by 200 feet of eight plait.
Tehani carries 75 feet of chain and 200 feet of 1/2 inch nylon
250' of 3/8" HT in front of 50' of 7/8" three strand.
125' chain backed by 150' three strand nylon
