() Once I have the route visualized I am done. I use my on board charting system mostly as a speed indicator, navigation in fog and for entering places I haven't been before. I never input a route. I geenerally also have paper charts at hand when in unfamiliar waters. On my powerboat I use a PC as my charting system, so I guess you could say I use the computer exclusively.

- Large scale paper for visualization, PC (Mac actually) for route entry, CP underway.
- I do all my planning on a tablet. I haven't plugged in a waypoint since my last Loran.
