PC power management seems like a pretty trivial thing to deal with. Let's say the PC "sleeps" or runs out of power... You're back up and running in a few minutes, and besides that you've got the CP at your helm (probably why you neglected the PC to begin with). Besides, your CE charts are probably up to date as of the last time you had a broadband internet connection and clicked the "update" icon -- but your paper charts were probably never updated.
I think perhaps we can agree to disagree on this, but IMHO the ONLY reason to carry paper charts these days is for disaster recovery in event your PC blue-screens or the electrons stop flowing. Even the CG has stopped using them, and they're not quick to make such decisions.
