I do all my planning on a tablet. I haven't plugged in a waypoint since my last Loran.

() But we don't sail that far from home. And if we do, I still don't plan a route, with waypoints. If I was powering from point to point, I might, but even away from home I'm optimistic that I can sail each day, so that eliminates any 'routes'. Sailing and planning don't mix very well.
