I have cleaned and lubed the sail track and the slugs...
I'm surprised how easily my full batten main comes down, and how it hard it is to go up.

You can dump the sheet on an electric winch just as fast as on any other winch
The danger is getting to the sheet winch on the cabin top.

Here's a mainsheet for a large old Rhodes.
We reefed our headsail with the electric winch.
I put a 2 speed toggle switch at the helm
