Looking at it again, we were farther offshore than I remembered, as LIS is about 16nm wide at it's widest. The thin red lines are other tracks, and the black lines are routes (I've followed some of these more than 20 times, and don't always have tracking turned on). It's interesting to look at these, because it's evident which ones were either hand-steered or steered using the AP set to track wind, vs. those where the AP is set to steer a heading. The latter are much straighter.
