its an old Perkins 4-108 that ran like a top and then crash/stopped. Problem was not that big a deal once we figured out what it was. The secondary fuel filter housing was a retrofit piece that was installed improperly. It worked it's way loose and air got into the system. Of course it wasn't a big deal except I had no idea what the problem was and had never bled the fuel system either. The other issue was the charging system that was a complete cluster, we replaced that in Noank prior to leaving, after having smoke in the engine compartment 1/2 hr away from the dock.
