Wow, those conditions conjur up visions of what that sail would be like.
I haven't been there (yet)...but don't you enter the Roque Island beach area generally from the SE?

I often sail in between Great Spruce and Double Shot when heading for Great Beach.
Lots of room for one.....
Referring to Bunker Cove.
It's the 6' and the 3' w/ 19' (or whatever) tides that worry me. ;^)))
The thorofare is a lot wider than it looks on the chart. It is an easy passage.
I prefer Roque when everybody has gone home.
Sails or sightseeing??
For me, the sights, the sounds, the smells are the pieces that make a great sail.

The knob is for a Ram-mount to hold an iPad
