() I've installed those on previous boats but for the type of sailing I do I'm happy with this old track set up(and not racing anymore 
) The other problem is that it would take a very large multi part mainsheet to work with a cam cleat with my main. Even though I'm still strong , I need the mainsheet to run to a winch.
And maybe I'm not following your idea at all, Steve.

- On a smaller boat, used to use the lee winch like that and lead across cockpit to weather side
