A traveler with bearings wouldn't fit on this track. Just flat steel mounted on a wood riser.

() The one benefit of that is the seat is still usable with a cushion. A modern track that a control line car rides on would be a couple inches high, more with the car and lines. They are nice but I guess I've gone backwards.

- On a smaller boat, used to use the lee winch like that and lead across cockpit to weather side
