I've concerns about the riser putting strain on the manifold connection.

Do you have pics or can you describe what you have in more detail? If it's connected to the boat and not the engine, you must have some play in it? I won't have too much lever but the riser will be heavy as I'm using 2" IP fittings.

- You could also buy a Westerbeke injection elbow
- Might be worth it. All the research I've done, that elbow is the cooling system achilles heel.
