I tried to replace a couple of corroded burner caps this year by contacting Force 10. They informed me that the factory in France had burned down, including the drawings of the burners, and that they were no longer available in brass or steel. But there is a new all SS design in the current stove that sells as a retrofit kit at about $100/burner. So I filed off the corrosion on my existing burner caps, and stove works just like new. None of the rest of the stove has ever rusted, so I am surprised about the non-ss parts comments. Maybe I'll even paint the burner caps this year with heat resistant paint if they corrode a lot. :)
