I agree about the gimbals. The stove top is the only safe place to put something that can spill down when at sea.

Did you put lead in at the bottom? We put some old dive weights and improved the swing even more.

We just refurbished the parts we use last year. New stainless burners from the guy I mentioned. New valves and jets from a propane joint in South Africa. Brazed up one feed line that was going to leak soon. Welded a bit on the grate so they all worked. And actually paid some guy to polish it up. Serious gleaming!
