Beware Ipe!

A dock in the Abacos is all Ipe. If you walk in it with bare feet you pick up lots and lots of very small, very fine splinters. If you put it on the boat for looks and varnish ok; but I wouldn't use if on anything I'd be stepping on or grabbing.... IMHO.
