Smaller than 7000 lbs but I take it down

() My boat is 5,600 lbs empty so I'm not in the size range you requested but I have always taken the mast down every year. I don't have an option though because we haul out with cranes at my club and the rig gets in the way. We have boats at my club up to 30,000 lbs that drop the mast every year.
