The orange cetol didn't work out on my prior boat

() When I bought the boat the prior owner had used it on the teak slatted cockpit seats. I trucked it up from Florida in late January and left it exposed over the remainder of the winter without covering it. By March it was cracking and flaking everywhere water had gotten through a nick or chip, and it had to be stripped. I decided to sand it and go with natural bare teak, and let it fade.
