We've never had enough issue where it was a concern. The biggest issue was in Great Guana Cay, Abacos where we were in need of staying at a marina because of family visiting. They squeaked from the lines rubbing. Usually I wrap a towel around the lines and the squeak goes away. I've heard you can soap the lines and the squeak to diminishes. I also watch them and feed line in or out if i see any issue.
