you'll have a much more comfortable ride if you don't carry the tide -- buck the ebb instead. JMHO. It'll take longer but the Delaware can put up a nasty chop.

As I wrote in email, the C&D Canal is lit like a superhighway at night, so you can go through after dark no problem.
