I'm not sure what current charts you're looking at...Nobeltec, Navionics (Northstar) and Furuno all say otherwise?

() Enter the Bay at 7:30 AM -- Ride it up all the way.
At mid-Bay (about 1/2 way), the current is about 2 knots northward (Flood) at noonish. That's it's peak.
Farther north, expecially above the Nuclear Plant (south of the C&D Canal entrance) --- the current will be more as the canel narrows.
Are you sure you're looking at the right day, Larry?
