Layers of foam board and more

All of this was working blind and with one hand... cutting a board section, filming a short movie, trimming, globbering with adhesive, positioning, wedging in place to set up, removing excess glue, and repeating, being careful to overlap the seams, of course.

I did use a bit of one part foam for an area that was not accessible. To reach beyond the normal nozzle length, I clamped on a length of hose and taped to it some coat hanger so I could aim the hose. Worked great!

One of my goals was leaving an air gap between the added insulation and surrounding cabinetry so to minimize condensation on wood. I mostly succeeded.

After finishing the rest, I hired Miller and Miller to install a piece of super-efficient Aerogel Cryogel Z between the fridge top and the evaporator inside the fridge box.

The jury is out, but I expect that the fridge will not be overly demanding of power when we get to Mexico.
